Activities & Water Sports

From May to September, the resort offers kite surfing with strong winds on both the lagoon and ocean, and lessons are available through Kite Center Sri Lanka. From November to March, daily boat trips leave at 06:30 for dolphin and whale watching excursions in the Indian Ocean. Other activities include snorkeling, canoeing, paddleboarding, horse riding on the beach, cycling, and hiking, with all equipment provided on site.

Location & Nature

The resort sits on the banks of the Kappalady Lagoon and Indian Ocean on the north-west coast of Sri Lanka, with a private beach area and an infinity pool overlooking the lagoon. Wilpattu National Park is a 4 am drive away for wildlife safaris, and local fishing areas and untouched beaches are within walking distance. The hotel supports community projects including local kindergartens, and the property is home to free-roaming donkeys, horses, peacocks, and one of the best kite surfing spots in the area.
